Case Study - The 1930s Semi

Rear extension and full refurb

We secured Permitted Development consent for a rear extension and worked with the young family to determine what they wanted from their new home. We completely gutted this house, rewired, replumbed and replaced all windows. We added extensive bespoke carpentry, a new kitchen, bathrooms and finished with full decoration.

Challenge

Lots of discoveries on this project (like most extensive refurbishments) - Rotten joists, previous owner repairs, cracked drains, tree roots requiring significantly deeper dig but refurbs wouldn't be fun if there weren't some challenges!

Value

Value engineered changes were agreed during the build to save the client money while still delivering an amazing quality build.  This allowed the client some flexibility in up spec'ing finishes!
