Every successful project has a few bumps along the journey! As part of this scheme we needed to secure consent to move the front door as well as demolition of two existing single garages. The project was located in a highly desirable conservation area a stone throws from the high street. The loss of two garage spaces resulted in the parish council at first review rejecting the proposal. The design was tweaked to address some comments and we got that all important approval.
Bringing this investment property from a one bed to a three bed and securing the extension permission we have brought the value of the property from a purchase price of 490k to a sales figure of over 670k (currently under offer).
